"It has been 10 years now since I started the company and I'm very excited to announce the new suite of personal development courses to be launched over the next six months.  The beauty of these courses is that they transcend the age barrier and apply to all of us, they are adaptable and deal with the barriers that turn up through life and sometimes leave us feeling 'stuck'.
BRAVE IT building resiliance avoiding violent experences - improving tomorrow, is the latest in the portfolio of programmes.  I am passionate about people and BRAVE IT deals with the destructive, negative programming and influences left by abusers, breaking down these harmful and paralysing beliefs and re-programming and re-balancing perspectives to show the individual's true worth.

We continue to run regular sessions of The String and Get Smart and Shine as these have proved very successful over the years and have introduced a new  programme further education self development.
Where did these motivational programmes  come from?  That's easy ..... twenty years of working with people of all ages and abilities, and the University of Life! The belief of Holistic Alliance is that everyone is a diamond, it's just that sometimes life covers that precious jewel with the grunge of living and we forget just how bright we are!  The courses and coaching on offer through Holistic Alliance all focus on one thing ..... that people associate, build relationships and do business with people they like, respect and admire. Real peace and confidence comes from within .... we all have the ability to succeed,  you need to appreciate and believe in yourself, your skills and qualities, because if you don't believe in you, how can you expect anyone else to do so?

I am lucky to have been able to work with some of the most amazing individuals, people who have taken the couragous step to say 'yes' to building themselves a better future, shaken hands with their gremlins and by changing their thought processes, have gone on to change their futures and their fortunes.  Likewise I am blessed to have been supported and encouraged by equally amazing people, like Linda Hanbury www.ljhanbury.co.uk  who encouraged me to jump when I was on top of that cliff looking down at the potential of starting my own business, and Denise  at Prostart www.prostartuk.co.uk .. whose vision and belief has helped me to grow personally, to name but two and the Erewash Partnership ....www.erewashpartnership.co.uk whose support to small businesses is second to none! Whether it be business skills and development advice, confidence or image coaching, Holistic Alliance and Alliance Training hold true to their initial pledge to help people break down their barriers to focus on their futures.   We here at Holistic Alliance and Alliance Training and Coaching are committed to helping people to succeed!"

Tyna Burnett - Managing Director                   Some background history ........

Krystyna Burnett has been involved in the training arena for the past twenty years, in voluntary, private and public sectors.

Past experience includes  training and development of groups aged between 16 and 80, many with additional needs from excluded groups i.e. long-term unemployed, lone parents and ex-young  offenders.

A fully qualified tutor, assessor, and internal verifier, with teaching certificates in Literacy and Numeracy, and qualifications in Training and Development, Krystyna has been involved in NVQ development since the introduction of the pilot schemes in 1987 being one of the first centres is Derbyshire to take the lead for Erewash Training Services. Her specialism at the time being  business and administration, customer service, information technology and communication skills.

Krystyna has worked for a variety of both National and Local Training Providers in both a training and senior managerial roles, training individuals of all age and ability ranges, not just in business and administration vocations but also in engineering where passion for water and freedom lead to management of an engineering training centre building narrowboats and giving those long term unemployed something to really enjoy as they learned new skills!  Of course .... she learned to weld at the same time!

A spell in the voluntary sector followed working with womens groups opened up a whole new understanding of the word resilliant ... working with women facing homelessness and debt, escaping fear and moving on to build better stronger and safer futures for both themselves and their families, proving that with support and restored self believe change for the better is possible.

Krystyna then went on to work for another private training provider, ASL as Director of Training running contracts for local colleges for community training and pilots of Learn Direct, alongside this was a second suite for private training, where Krystyna personally trained corporate organisations in the full Microsoft Office Suite basics to advanced.  Customers here included the Secretariat of Broxtowe Borough Council, Wathalls Funeral Directors of Derby and the staff and management of Robert Ellis Property Consultants.

Krystyna, who started her company in January 2001, is now involved in the  development of Alliance Training Limited, writing courses for self-enhancement and business support services, and more recently coaching services for personal and business development.  Her passion is people and helping them see their true amazing potential.

Krystyna has worked on a consultancy basis with Prostart Training  www.prostartuk.co.uk , managing and delivering work preparation skills training and ICT training for young  people, this has included learners on preparatory contracts who either did not yet know which area of work they preferred or alternatively, were not yet work ready, due mainly to their low self-confidence, or need for development of communication and life skills, lack of work ethics, health or personal/social problems.

Krystyna’s approach to this client group is to work on their self-esteem, aims and  aspirations and to gently but firmly lead them through the transition from the school youth experience to that of the adult world of work and all that this  incorporates, i.e. Citizenship, ownership of responsibilities and building on their basic skills as part of the process.

Her belief is that everyone is a diamond!

Alliance Training Limited is a member of the Erewash Partnership www.erewash-partnership.co.uk and Krystyna is currently a member of  their Board.  More recently Krystyna has been working with Community Concern Erewash www.communityconcernerewash.co.uk.  For the past three years Krystyna has worked within Cotmanhay with Bennerley Business and Enterprise College on Community Cohesion and Extended Services in and around Schools. Just having launched BRAVE IT the new programme pilot there for young people. This was formed after Krystyna attended the FREEDOM www.freedomprogramme.co.uk  Programme on Domestic Abuse and was asked to find a way to get it into Schools and College to help young victims of domestic abuse.  The programme was amazing and from that experience BRAVE IT was born! So thank you Pat Craven for the wonderful work you are doing in raising awareness of the behaviour  and types of abuser.

Alliance Training now holds a very diverse and involved portfolio linking in to the aims and objectives identified by Krystyna when she set up the company.  Krystyna is committed to the delivery of the mission statement for Alliance Training Limited:-
